Mission
The mission of the LRMC European Medical Simulation Center is to enable a Ready Medical Force for the Multi-Domain Joint Warfighter, providing evidenced-based medical and trauma simulation training to all healthcare professionals in the U.S. European Command, U.S. Central Command and U.S. Africa Command areas of responsibility. The European Medical Simulation Center will ensure the right education and training opportunities are delivered in the most professional manner by the most qualified subject matter experts in accordance with the Commander’s intent, regulatory directors and Society for Simulation in Healthcare Standards.

Standardized Patient (MAJ Manupule) helped Labor and Delivery Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit navigate through a shoulder dystocia scenario. Standardized Patients provide a realistic experience for learners to feel safe in making mistakes and learning from them.
From the battlefield to the clinic, simulations prepare Service Members and staff for cohesive responses to dire situations. Watch an impromptu simulated cardiac arrest "Code Blue" conducted at LRMC, Sept. 15, 2022 as part of Healthcare Simulation Week 2022 (Sept. 12 - 16).

U.S. Army CPT Bean apply pressure and secure tourniquet to control hemorrhage on a simulated casualty as part of the International Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT).
Military Trauma Team Training (MT3) provides real-world training opportunities for military medical professionals. The training is designed to train medical teams on baseline knowledge and task requirements of trauma resuscitative care. Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) packaging patients to transport patient.
