Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program
The Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program is an outpatient, short-term treatment intervention. The ideal candidate for MHIOP is an individual needing a higher level of care than outpatient treatment can provide. The focus of the program is to assist individuals with tools to cope and navigate current stressors.
The MHIOP provides an intermediate level of care. Group curriculum includes evidence based treatment: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
While MHIOP staff consult with the individuals primary provider, all decisions regarding diagnosis(es), medication, admission and disposition (i.e., return to duty, MEB, Chapter) will be made by their primary provider.
How to make referrals to MHIOP?
MHIOP referrals are only accepted from licensed mental health clinical providers. For first time referrals, please call CIV: 06371-9464-7634, DSN: 314-590-7634.
