Our Nurses, Midwives, Obstetricians and Medical Technicians are here to support you throughout your birth experience.

Our private Labor, Delivery and Recovery (LDR) rooms have rocking chairs, birthing balls, recliners, showers and state-of-the-art medical equipment. We are also equipped with OB Operating Rooms within the unit.

Our Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) provides high-risk obstetrical care and consultations. We offer diagnostic ultrasound, genetic counseling, prenatal diagnosis, management of high-risk pregnancy, multiple births and expectant mothers with diabetes and prematurity prevention.

Best of all, your baby remains with you for your entire hospital stay.

LRMC has licensed independent neonatal providers staffed in hospital 24 hours a day 7 days a week available to respond immediately to any neonatal emergencies.  All of these highly trained providers have years of experience working in neonatal intensive care units and stabilizing critically ill newborns.

Getting off to the right start in life is important. For people like LeVar Burton, that included being born at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, where quality care includes a team of dedicated staff members, patient-centered health care, lactation support, and maximizing the patient experience through family bonding. We can't guarantee your baby will boldly go in the same career path as Mr. Burton...but we can promise the best possible care to get them started in the right direction.
