Cardiology

The Cardiology Clinic at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center offers comprehensive adult cardiac care, including advanced cardiac imaging (echocardiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, stress testing), transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and arrhythmia monitoring. Invasive diagnostic cardiac catheterization is available for evaluation of stable coronary artery disease; however, there are no interventional capabilities (no PCI or structural interventions) at LRMC. Patients requiring urgent cardiac interventions (such as those with unstable acute coronary syndrome or STEMI) should not be managed at LRMC and should be referred directly to facilities with interventional cardiology services. The clinic also provides device-based therapies such as pacemaker and ICD implantation, and welcomes referrals for the full spectrum of medical, diagnostic, and preventive cardiovascular care.

To our referring providers: we welcome your referral and we are actively seeking out new patients. We have included clinical practice and referral guidelines for the most common cardiac disease states.
