Mother Baby Unit

**You asked, we listed!** Newly renovated bathrooms are now available in each individual room.

The Mother Baby Unit provides family-centered care after delivery where mothers and newborns stay together in their rooms 24 hours a day, also known as rooming-in. We understand that birth is a personal, life-changing event and our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and making this a memorable experience for you and your family. Our Nurses, Midwives, Obstetricians and Medical Technicians are here to support you throughout your birth experience.

To help new parents with common questions about breastfeeding, we've created a Breastfeeding Support Video which you can watch below.

Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Registered Nurse and Certified Lactation Consultant, Elena Mattolin-Rakas, discusses lactation support for new and current parents.
Please take a few moments to review this Welcome Book, with a wealth of helpful information to guide you through postpartum and newborn care.

Getting off to the right start in life is important. For people like LeVar Burton, that included being born at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, where quality care includes a team of dedicated staff members, patient-centered health care, lactation support, and maximizing the patient experience through family bonding. We can't guarantee your baby will boldly go in the same career path as Mr. Burton...but we can promise the best possible care to get them started in the right direction.
