Frequently Asked Questions
Children in the OB/GYN Clinic: Children are allowed in the clinic with the exception of certain appointment types including procedures, formal ultrasounds and Biophysical Profile (BPP) assessments, group education or counseling classes and during Non-stress Test (NST) clinic. In order to protect patients from exposures that could be potentially harmful in pregnancy, we kindly ask that you use discretion if children are sick. We are happy to work with you to reschedule if you have difficulty making childcare arrangements.
I think my pregnancy is high-risk, do I need to see a specialist? You will discuss your complete health and obstetric history at the first provider appointment. Certain pregnancies may be considered higher risk for complications and will be assessed in-depth by your provider. If needed, you will be referred for consultation with the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) provider and who will determine if you need closer monitoring during your pregnancy.
How do I send records between LRMC and other medical facilities? For information about submitting your medical records from other providers, including those on the local economy, to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center or transferring your medical records to another facility, please visit the
