Medical Transient Detachment

Mission

Our mission is to provide company level mission command, administrative and logistical support, and quality of life needs to the evacuated wounded, ill and injured service members of LRMC and medically TDY outpatients and non-medical attendants.

Amenities (and notes):

• Access to CDEL (CAUSE Digital Entertainment Library System) and movies
• Landstuhl Library provides books, videos, and books on MP3 players
• Rooms have a TV, dorm size refrigerator, and microwave
• Laundry rooms provided in building
• Free telephone service in common areas
• MTD Barracks is a Dry Barracks (no alcohol possession or consumption)
• Guests are not authorized in MTD rooms
• Base Fitness Center located nearby for use
• Bring phone #'s for POC's at your unit
• Bring your Military ID and passport
• Bring personal hygiene items, civilian and weather appropriate clothing, medications and 220v adapter for chargers
