Occupational Therapy


The LRMC Occupational Therapy Clinic offers services to active-duty service members and patients covered by TRICARE Prime. As space becomes available, we will also see retirees, DoD civilians, contractors, and others.

We have on staff occupational therapists, occupational therapy technicians and a wonderful front desk staff to help meet your occupational therapy needs. We encourage use of symptom trackers if you feel like you are experiencing numbness, tingling or on and off aches and pains during an activity or with rest to help your therapist make an accurate assessment.

 

If you have an injury that is less than 3 weeks old, come in for OT Sick Call:  0630-0800 Monday- Friday

  • You do NOT need a PCM referral to come to Sick Call
  • ** Active Duty Only at this time**
  • Injury must be 3 weeks old or LESS. Older injuries will be re-directed to schedule with PCM and make a formal appointment.
  • Common examples of what we see at OT sick call:
    • Fingers: Jammed, crooked, cannot make a full fist or pain with attempts to make a full fist
    • Wrist: pain/ sprain/ numbness/ tingling/ lack of normal movement
    • Elbow: sprain/ pain/ numbness/ tingling
