Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Program (BHIOP)
Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Program (BHIOP) is an outpatient, short-term treatment intervention. The ideal candidate for BHIOP is an individual needing a higher level of care than outpatient treatment can provide. The focus of the program is to assist individuals with tools to cope and navigate current stressors.
The BHIOP provides an intermediate level of care. Group curriculum includes evidence based treatment: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
While BHIOP staff consult with the individuals primary provider, all decisions regarding diagnosis(es), medication, admission and disposition (i.e., return to duty, MEB, Chapter) will be made by their primary provider.
How to make referrals to BHIOP?
BHIOP referrals are only accepted from licensed Behavioral Health Clinical providers. For first time referrals, please call CIV: 06371-9464-7634, DSN: 314-590-7634.
