Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care

The Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care (SUDCC) replaces the clinical portion of the Army's Substance Abuse Program (ASAP). SUDCC is now located within the Behavioral Health Clinics at LRMC. All calls go to the Clinical Director, who will answer questions about the program and direct patients to the appropriate clinic for SUDCC services.

Services

The SUDCC program uses a multidisciplinary approach to treat and provide patients the resources and support they need to overcome the challenges of alcohol abuse or drug abuse.

Access to Care

The primary mission of the Landstuhl SUDCC program is to treat active duty military members. Assessments will be scheduled by appointment. You can walk-in to your Behavioral Health clinic or call to schedule an appointment.

For those not eligible for care in this clinic, there are other resources available. Department of Army civilians may receive services at the Baumholder or Wiesbaden SUDCC located in the Behavioral Health clinics in either location. Alternatively, they may contact the Employee Assistance Program at the Garrison Army Substance Abuse Program. In the Kaiserslautern area, the EAP counselor can be reached at DSN: 493-4907 or CIV: 0631-3406-4907, in Building 2886 on Pulaski Barracks.

ATTENTION: If you believe that you, or another person, may be at an immediate risk because of physical or emotional crisis, please contact the Military Police at your installation by dialing the installation prefix and 112 (Ex. Landstuhl 06371-92-112), off post call German Emergency Assistance at 112, or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.

For a MEDICAL EMERGENCY anywhere in Europe, go straight to a Host Nation emergency room. Once you've checked in, please call the International SOS Call Center to apprise them of your situation. The center is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can provide assistance.
