COVID-19 VACCINE UPDATE (July 11, 2022)

Second Booster vaccination eligibility:

 
-People over 50 who received a Moderna or Pfizer primary series, followed by a booster.
-People over 50 who received Johnson & Johnson/Janssen primary dose followed by any booster.
-Anyone who received a J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine for both their primary dose and booster.
-Moderately or severely immunocompromised persons (For specific details on what conditions constitute moderately or severely immunocompromised, please visit the CDC website: https://www.cdc.gov/.../vaccines/recommendations/immuno.html

 

PEDIATRIC COVID-19 VACCINE UPDATE (As of July 11 2022)

LRMC now has initial series pediatric COVID-19 vaccinations for ages 6 months and up, and booster vaccinations for ages 5 and up if eligible.

If your child has not been previously seen at LRMC, Ramstein Air Base, or Army Health Clinics, you MUST report to the LRMC Admissions & Dispositions Office, Patient Administration Division (BLDG 3766) to register BEFORE making an appointment. Please bring the child’s official picture identification
(Passport) to register.
Pediatric patients MUST have a picture identification which lists the patient’s birthdate, such as government ID or passport, to the vaccination event in order to verify eligibility. A parent or legal guardian MUST remain with the child to consent for the vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccinations begin for Landstuhl Regional Medical Center

Landstuhl Regional Medical Center conducted its first inoculations of healthcare workers with the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on Dec. 31. The arrival of the vaccine paves the way for a phased vaccine distribution plan to protect our military communities overseas against COVID-19.
