COVID-19 VACCINE UPDATE (May 9, 2022)

Second Booster vaccination eligibility:

 
-People over 50 who received a Moderna or Pfizer primary series, followed by a booster.
-People over 50 who received Johnson & Johnson/Janssen primary dose followed by any booster.
-Anyone who received a J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine for both their primary dose and booster.
-Moderately or severely immunocompromised persons (For specific details on what conditions constitute moderately or severely immunocompromised, please visit the CDC website: https://www.cdc.gov/.../vaccines/recommendations/immuno.html

 

PEDIATRIC COVID-19 VACCINE UPDATE (As of Feb. 22 2022)

 

Pediatric patients (5-11) MUST have a picture identification which lists the patient’s birthdate, such as government ID or passport, to the vaccination event in order to verify eligibility. A parent or legal guardian MUST remain with the child to consent for the vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccinations begin for Landstuhl Regional Medical Center

Landstuhl Regional Medical Center conducted its first inoculations of healthcare workers with the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on Dec. 31. The arrival of the vaccine paves the way for a phased vaccine distribution plan to protect our military communities overseas against COVID-19.
