Pharmacy Prescription Option
Save Time by Using Our Online Option to Request New and Renewed Prescriptions! (Preferred Option)
Beginning 01 Nov 2025, patients can now go to https://cxmlink.com/DHAMTF607 (or scan the QR code if you have it) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to request new prescriptions. Follow the prompts to activate your prescription(s). It is strongly encouraged to include comments in the comment field to alert pharmacy as to which medication(s) you are requesting to activate. Once activation is complete, you’ll receive a message on the screen with a “Q” number and options to send more messages to the pharmacy. You can close the browser, but it is recommended to keep the browser open so pharmacy can contact you if there are issues in filling your prescription(s).
- Prescriptions activated before 10 a.m. can be picked up the same day after 3 p.m.
- Prescriptions activated after 10 a.m. can be picked up after noon on the next business day.
- You do not need to wait in the lobby while your medications are being processed.
- When you arrive to the Pharmacy Lobby to pick up your prescription(s), please select a “Return for Pickup” ticket from the kiosk and wait to be called.
- If you keep the browser open, you can see messages from Pharmacy to you. Pharmacy will only send messages if we cannot fill your request.
Waiting Option (Non-preferred)
Stop at the Pharmacy Lobby and select “Discharge” ticket.
Wait in the lobby while Pharmacy prepares your medications. Wait times can vary throughout the day.
Paper Prescriptions
Pharmacy conveniently has a drop box available in the Pharmacy Lobby for you to place your paper prescriptions for routine processing. You can pick up your paper prescriptions after noon on the next duty day. Patients are encouraged to use the drop off option rather than waiting in the pharmacy lobby.
If requesting prescriptions from Host Nation Providers, please be aware of the following requirements for Pharmacy to fill your prescription(s):
- If the Provider’s information is not in MHS Genesis, Pharmacy will have to request Defense Health Network Europe (DHNE) Credentials validate the prescriber before pharmacy can prescriptions.
- Prescription(s) must contain the all of the following information in English: patient’s full name and date of birth, medication name and strength, dosage form, directions for use to include dose, route, frequency of administration, duration (when applicable), quantity to be dispense, number of refills (if appropriate), date of prescribing, printed or stamped prescriber's information (complete name, address, and phone number), and prescriber’s signature.
- Prescriptions must be for FDA-approved medications.
- Additionally, all TRICARE requirements and limitations must be met before Pharmacy can fill a prescription. This includes any prior authorization or medical necessity requirements and quantity limits (see TRICARE Formulary Search Tool). When applicable, it is the responsibility of the prescriber to complete and submit prior authorization or medical necessity forms. Once approved, the pharmacy will dispense the medication.
Prescription Refills
Patients are encouraged to use the ScriptCenter in the Pharmacy lobby to avoid waiting in the Pharmacy. The ScriptCenter is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week for your convenience. ScriptCenter will require a rapid one-time registration to use.
Patients must request refills through the
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal (RX Refill Tab > Landstuhl Regional Medical Center-ScriptCenter) or by calling +49 6371-596-4922 (select option 1 then option 2). You will need to have your prescription number available to call in refills.
Refills will be available for pick-up after
2 business days of request and will be held for 10 calendar days. Patients who do not select the ScriptCenter must come to the pharmacy during normal duty hours and select a “Return for Pickup” ticket from the Pharmacy kiosk.

The Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Pharmacy can be reached by telephone from 8 am to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4 pm Monday through Friday at +49 6371-9464-5223. Beneficiaries can also connect with the pharmacy through MHS Genesis Patient Portal Messaging (
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal) during the same hours as phone calls.
Pharmacy Eligibility
The Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Pharmacy provides full outpatient pharmacy services to eligible beneficiaries.
To fill prescriptions at any Defense Health Agency medical facility, all beneficiaries must be validated and registered through Patient Administration before Pharmacy can fill your prescription. For patients who do not have TRICARE medical coverage, it is mandatory to provide Other Health Insurance information before picking up medications. Prescriptions are billed to either the civilian insurance on file or directly to the patient. It is the
sole responsibility of the patient to understand their prescription coverage and associated copays.
Formulary
Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Pharmacy dispenses medications in accordance with TRICARE policies, requirements and limitations. This includes any prior authorization or medical necessity requirements and quantity limits. Many Uniform Formulary medications are readily available for dispensing. If a medication is not stocked, patients should expect at least a 15-30 day wait before the medication is available.
Prior authorizations are required for certain medications. It is recommended that patients utilize the
TRICARE Formulary Search Tool for formulary status, prior authorization/medical necessity requirements and quantity limits. When applicable, it is the responsibility of the prescribing provider to complete and submit prior authorization or medical necessity forms to Express Scripts. Once approved, the pharmacy will dispense the medication.
